Smeg has teamed with Australia’s leading food, drink and lifestyle magazines for the "30 Days of Home and Entertaining Festival" to run throughout April.
The festival is being staged at select Sydney locations and offers consumers the opportunity to meet and mix with editors of Australia’s top food, wine, fashion and lifestyle magazines – such as Belle, Gourmet Traveller, Real Living and House & Garden – as well as top chefs, stylists and design experts to learn insider secrets on the latest trends, products and lifestyle choices.
One of the highlights of the Festival is the 30 Days Live House at 2-14 Amelia Street, Waterloo – a concept space featuring leading homewares brands such as Smeg, Coco Republic, Designer Rugs and Sheridan. Each of the rooms within the house will showcase the latest home living trends, including Smeg’s Linear collection of ovens and cooktops plus the iconic FAB refrigerators.
Smeg’s Executive Chef, Anne Love, will be giving cooking demonstrations in partnership with Belle, Australian Gourmet Traveller, Real Living and House & Garden with each menu illustrating the innovative, and often patented, technology – such as the Thermoseal oven, cool oven door, pyrolytic cleaning and steam cooking – that has placed Smeg at the forefront of domestic cooking worldwide.
Anne’s dishes include Five spice roasted duck with a snake bean and hazelnut salad; Steamed cinnamon and chocolate pudding; Smoked trout, Broad bean and lemon risotto; Espresso crème brulee and lime and coconut cheesecake.
